Are there any typical Okinawan forenames?

My family originate from Okinawa, although most have since moved to Japan, and I'm interested in learning about the islands. I'm aware that there are surenames native to Okinawa, like Amuro for example, (I know it's not a common name I just happen to be a frequent listener of a certain Okinawan lady who goes by that name) however I wondered if Okinawa historically, or even today, had specific first names separate to Japanese names. If there are, could anyone give examples?
