Guitar question?

I just re-strung my guitar a couple days ago with Ernie Ball strings. They're the super slinky ones, just cause I wanted to try them out. Anyway, it seems like they're loose or rattle or something. There's not a real crisp sound, but they're all in tune. I have a Epiphone Les Paul Copy if that helps. Do I need to raise the bridge at the bottom or something? I don't know how messing with that stuff will affect my guitar, so I'm asking first. Thanks.
