Car help, what would these sound like when the cars on, and if there bent???

yeah you either dropped a valve or spun a bearing.....next itme cream the mutt or put your foot on the clutch and use the brakes to slow down.......downshifting using the clutch is bad in any situation.........it puts wear and tear on the clutch instead of the brakes which are much cheaper and eisier to replace......get a pro to look at it and test drive...they should be able to give you an accurate idea of what happened to your motor!!!! good luck!!!!
