How to make sure that I dont end up as a wasted talent?

hey u know what even i'm goin thru a same kind of situation and u know what i feel the same way as u do but lets do this Go and show our brains out to the ones we are working with lets not think about the results because that is where we lack the courage and have a doubt on ourselves. but what is important is that how are we going to know good or bad until we act. I'm going to do it thinking thereis sum1 elsewhere doing the same. and yes we are going to see what hapens so all the best
