Is Britain at risk from Global Warming?

I wish people actually paid attention when their teachers/scientists are explaining climate change. Whilst average world temperatures are going to rise thanks to the greenhouse effect, there will be parts of the world that get colder - which Britain is (at the moment) not! Ahh bless, I love the people who think that looking out the window makes you qualified to talk about whether global warming is happening or not. A few months ago everyone was going on about it being a record summer and how global warming was well underway - how short the memories of these arm-chair scientists are! Next they'll be saying it's a new ice age... or has the Mail already covered that one?
