Is it normal for my front brake rotors to be getting hot?

just replaced the rotors and pads on my 93 ranger. lubed the bearings, and adjusted the bolt to the proper torque. drove 30 miles or so and the grease fittings as well as the rotors feel very hot. . . what gives? took of my tires to look and it seems like the calipers aren't letting go of the rotors enough. . .is this normal break in stuff or what? . . . . .
