Magpie help (being swooped)?

The male is the attacker, he is defending the nest in that area that you walk threw. He will do this when female is sitting or raising the babies from animal or humans. This is the only way these birds can defend their territory from intruders and as far as the bird is concred you are an intruder.His sole purpose is to protect the female and either eggs or babies.Leave the area and this will stop. If you must enter wear a hat, sun gles or carry an open umbrella, walk quickly But don't run or if can take another way to avoid this.The bird is only doing what comes natural to take care of his family.
